How regression detection works
Every night, StackConflict runs isolated Playwright scans on 300+ Shopify app scripts using the Chrome DevTools Protocol to measure V8 CPU execution time precisely. Results are compared against a 14-day rolling baseline per app:
- Warning: CPU increased >20% vs. 14-day median with 3+ baseline runs
- Critical: CPU increased >50% vs. 14-day median
- Bundle change: SHA-256 fingerprint of the deployed bundle changed
Alerts require a minimum of 3 baseline runs to avoid false positives from measurement noise. Read the full methodology →
